Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AstroConnect ("we") collects and uses your information when you use AstroConnect.
What we collect
- Account details: mobile number or Google email, and your name.
- Birth details you give for readings: name, gender, date, time and place of birth.
- Consultations: chat messages and details of calls and live sessions (time, duration, charges). Voice calls and live video are not recorded by us.
- Payments: wallet transactions and order details. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner (Razorpay) and are not stored by us.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address and browser, used for security.
How we use it
- To provide consultations: your birth details are shared with the astrologer you consult so they can read your chart.
- To process payments, issue receipts and meet tax requirements.
- To keep the service safe: preventing fraud, hiding contact details shared in chats, and handling reports.
- To send you login codes and service messages.
Who we share it with
- The astrologer you consult (your name, birth details and messages).
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us: hosting, SMS, payments and video.
- Authorities, when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it is active. If you delete your account, your profile, birth details and wallet are removed; payment and order records are kept as required by tax law, and past chats remain visible to the astrologer under "Deleted user".
Your choices
You can view and update your profile and birth details, and delete your account, from your account page. For any other request, write to support@example.com.
Security
We use encrypted connections, store only a fingerprint of your login session, and limit staff access to what is needed.
